A beautiful, open and inviting space was created for Whitemeadow at the Furniture Show, NEC, Birmingham in January 2024.
The Brief
Following the successful design of their permanent furniture showroom in late 2021, Whitemeadow commissioned Limeblue to create a standout exhibition stand for the Furniture Show at the NEC in Birmingham. The objective was to design an expansive and welcoming space that would effectively highlight the brand’s premium craftsmanship while attracting high volumes of trade visitors on the bustling exhibition floor.

Our Approach
Limeblue approached the project by focusing on sensory and atmospheric appeal, aiming to create a space that felt less like a traditional trade stand and more like an immersive environment. We conceptualized the initial working drawings and created accurately scaled 3D visuals to meticulously map out the footprint, ensuring optimal product placement and smooth visitor flow.

The Design & Build
The final design successfully brought to life the cozy feel of a Hygge-inspired indoor and outdoor natural interior. Limeblue specified all materials to enhance this warm, organic aesthetic, blending tactile surfaces and thoughtful lighting to complement Whitemeadow’s British handcrafted upholstery. The resulting space acted as a tranquil, premium haven that perfectly reflected the comfort and quality of the brand.
